Sportbetting.ag is a very well regarded sport book that offers an easy to use clean interface which taps in to some great markets and good prices. Sportsbetting.ag was established in 2002 and is located in Panama.

Alongside the bitcoin deposit and withdrawal option, Sportsbetting.ag also accept Litecoin for deposits and payouts.

Opening your account

To open a new account either fill in the quick box which is displayed on the right hand side of the homepage, or click the join button which is the first option on the top menu bar.

You will then be presented with a registration page. Complete the details, which includes entering your home address, telephone number, post code and date of birth. Select your password and click join. You will then receive an e-mail with your user number in it.

The first time you use the site you will need to use your account number that was e-mailed to you, this is the way that sportsbetting.ag verify your e-mail address.

Betting Interface

The main betting interface is dynamic and changes depending on the market you have selected. For example if you select NHL hockey you will see options available in the betting window for spreads, total points and the money-line ; conversely if you select politics for example, the screen is much simpler:

Selections are marked using tick boxes on the main betting interface.

When you tick a selection it turns green to highlight that it is your current selection and is added to the bet slip.

However this is not immediately obvious as the selection doesn’t show on the bet-slip until you click a bet type (see bet-slip later in this review for more details on this).

The betting interface works well enough, but the tick boxes are rather small, so you need to pay attention where the mouse is when you’re clicking them.

To the left of the main betting window as you can see in the above screen shot is the market navigation menu. Each market can be expanded to list the sub markets available within. The navigation bar is simple, but effective and does a good job of keeping a large number of markets grouped together for easy access.

You can change the way the odds are displayed via the toolbar drop-down box above the main betting interface:

The market selections on sportsbetting.ag are very good. They are navigated via a menu on the left of the screen, and broken down into the following categories:

Bet Slip

The bet-slip works but it isn’t the bet we have seen. For a start when you add a selection to it, you can’t actually see the selection until you click a bet type.

The bet types are tabbed across the top of the bet-slip.

You can see this in the below screenshots:

(1) in the first screenshot we have marked the selection, and it has turned green on the interface but note that it does not show on the bet slip.

(2) we have to click single bet at the top of the slip to get the selection to pull through to the front of the slip.

While this is not really a big deal once you know about it, it did initially stump us so be sure to make sure you click a bet option from the the top of the slip.

You can also see in the below screen shots that there is a ‘Risk Max Limit’ link. This will populate the slip with the maximum exposure the book is willing to take, which is useful if you find yourself hitting the book limits, and saves you entering a bet amount only to be told that the limit is too high.

The bet slip functions fine once you get used to it, and does the job it’s meant to without any issues.
