Bitcoin Roulette Strategy

The word roulette is french and means little wheel. Roulette is one of the easiest games to understand and one of the most popular in live casinos. Bitcoin roulette plays exactly the same way conventional roulette does, most of the bitcoin roulette sites we review offer both virtual and live roulette.

European

European roulette is played on a wheel with numbers ranging from 0 to 36. Unlike American Roulette there is just one zero in European roulette.

The wheel has slots in it, one for each number. The Roulette table has numbers on it that correspond to the numbers on the wheel, players make their bets by placing chips on the table. Once players have placed their bets the dealer spins the wheel and spins the ball into the wheel. After a short time the ball drops from the outer-side of the wheel to the inner eventually falls into one of the numbered slots.

The slots on the wheel are also colored, either black or red. Players can bet on the color of the result or which number the result will be.

As you can see in the above screenshot the roulette table divides the numbers into sections. As well as betting what number the roulette ball will land in, you can also bet what section of numbers the ball will fall into (either the 1st 12, 2nd 12 or 3rd 12).

American

American roulette is the same as European but instead of having just one zero, there is also a double zero (so the wheel has 38 numbers on it in total, 1 – 36, and 2 zeros) this increases the houses edge.

Bitcoin Roulette Strategy

The oldest and most famous strategy for playing roulette is the Martingale System. The system has been used for over two centuries.

  1. Start with a minimum bet of your choosing.
  2. If you lose your bet, you bet again but bet your minimum bet PLUS the previous losses.
  3. You always bet on even money chances.

In theory this system would mean you would always win however there are two very big pitfalls to the system.

1) It only works if you have infinite capital with which to play (and even the richest person in the world doesn’t have infinite capital!)

2) Casinos impose table limits to protect themselves against this play. If you reach the limit and are martingaling you lose all your previous bets!

Here is an example:

We start with 1 chip and we bet on even, unfortunately the ball lands on 11, and we lose the bet.

Because we are using Martingale, we double our bet, and spin the wheel again.

This time our bet wins, let’s add up how we have done:

Bet 1 – lost 1 chip
Bet 2 – won 2 chips

Net profit: + 1 chip

So we have profited by 1 chip (our minimum bet).

This is a simple example, as we won on the second spin, sometimes you can go very many numbers without winning a single bet. However if you stick to the system you will eventually win, providing you do not run out of money, and the house limit isn’t reached.

In practice you are almost certain to run out of money or reach the house limit at some point, but providing you gamble within your means you can have a lot of fun with this system.
