Bitcoin Rush is a gaming site that offers a sports book, casino and two skill games: Bitcoin Rush and NFL Survivor pool. It was one of the first bitcoin sports books created and has been established since 2013. The site design is fairly basic yet functional.
Bitcoin Rush recently completely overhauled the sports book and now offer some of the best odds in the industry alongside a slick and clean interface.
Account opening in a rush
We found account creation super easy. You simply need to pick a username and choose a password and that’s it. You don’t even need to enter an e-mail address if you do not want to (although we recommend you do). Once you have created your account you are presented with the account information portal. This allows easy access to features such as: deposit, withdraw, transaction history and details of the VIP program (more on that below).
Gameplay and Graphics
As the Bitcoin Rush sports book recently had a makeover we thought we would start our gameplay review with the sports book.
We must say given the hype on the Bitcoin Rush blog about the new sports book we expected a lot from the sports book but were not blown away. The markets are easy to navigate thanks to the drop-down menu however you do have to click the menu to get access to the various sporting categories on offer, unlike other Bitcoin sports books we have reviewed which have sporting categories available on the same screen as the markets.
The market selections seem to be taking up far more space than necessary, while this might appeal to some who prefer to focus on the markets without any other clutter on the screen, we found it made for a fairly bland experience.
The fonts on the bet-slip were not as crisp as we are used to seeing on bigger websites – they actually appeared blurry – not what we are used to seeing from bigger sports books.
To say the sports book design did not wow us would be an understatement. The markets on offer were reasonable however and Bitcoin Rush also offer in play betting on every NFL game which we did think was a nice touch.
The skill games section of the site features two products: Bitcoin Rush and NFL Survivor pool. Bitcoin Rush is a game played between two players. The object of the game is to win all the coins. The system allocates a coin and each player must use one of their own six numbered coins. The player that chooses the highest number coin wins all the coins. The skill in the game is trying to calculate when to use your higher coins and when to use your lower value coins.
If you feel like trying this out there is also a free to play version on the site where you play against the computer. You can play this three times a day, and if you win two out of three times, you receive 0.1 mBTC as a reward, not bad for free!
The NFL Survivor Pool allows you to play against other plays in a fantasy NFL league. Each week you must pick a team, if your team wins you progress into the next weeks game. You cannot pick the same team twice but can have as many entries as you care to purchase. There are three different pools, with three different entry fees – a free to enter pool – a 5 mBTC pool – and a 25 mBTC pool. Bitcoin Rush guarantee 1 BTC for each pool, and all three pools had an overlay because of this when this review was written.
If you are into NFL this may well be the best part of Bitcoin Rush. The overlays are generous, and the rules (which can be found on the site) are very straight-forward.
Did we say Casino? Well that’s what it says on the menu. To be honest the casino games look like something out of the darkages. The best we could say about the graphics are that they are simple. In fact they look like they have been designed by a hobby computer programmer. The casino games on offer are: video poker, roulette, baccarat, and hi-lo.
You might want to try these if bored and you have some funds on the site due to using the sports book or playing in the NFL Survivor Pool but we certainly wouldn’t recommend you deposit here on the merits of the casino alone.
Bonuses and Value
The promotional offerings on Bitcoin Rush are not many, in fact there is just one promotion and that is the Bitcoin Rush VIP program, or VIP Comp Program as it is termed on the site. The program is simple, you simply play and the more you play in the casino, multiplayer games or sportbook the more points you accrue. There are four tiers to the program: Red, White, Black and Gold. You are automatically enrolled in the red tier upon registering. Each level has various bonuses associated with it, as well as daily cashback as a percentage of your play (regardless of if you win or lose).
The best part of Bitcoin Rush we think is the NFL survivor pool, it’s simple, with a generous overlay and provides for many weeks of fun. The Bitcoin Rush game itself has reasonable gameplay but the graphics are in the same rank as the casino graphics – and the less we say about them the better. The site has been around since 2013 and does have some great odds for sporting events, as well as in play betting on every NFL game. If you are into sports betting this site is well worth checking out. If you are into NFL – the Survivor Pool is worth a try. If neither of those apply, we think you will find better entertainment with one of the other sites in our directories.Join and play daily games for free mBITs
